I just became a cheif bandit and was wondering.. what I should upgrade. I applied my first point to assualter, but once I level up, I don't want to upgrade the wrong things. So if you know what I should max first please tell meh. Thanks, Travazz

Read the guides and pick a build. The BoT build seems to be the cookie-cutter these days. I know a few CBs who changed the build a few levels earlier to get MG because they wanted to take less damage at Windraiders. It didn't hurt them all that much, I don't think.

Most of the guides suggest to go with a BoT build, so I'd go with that.

Other than that, this is the build for now. Used to be that cb's couldn't find a trainable mob that groups in more than 4 monsters but now that isn't the case, so BoT has become more popular. Additionally, mpq and ppq require a lot of mobbing so BoT is your friend there as well. Personally, i started down the BoT build before the craze hit; mobbing is the best way to get exp.

Your posting makes me sick. MG lasts 30 seconds at lvl 1. Get the hell out of this forum and don't ever come back with your crap "advice" and necroposting.

I don't know if he necroposted, but the 10 second thing could be a hyperbole to emphasize his antipathy towards skills that need to be recasted all the time. Sorry for those stupid words. @ Mir: I consider threads with two days of no posting, necroposting. Especially in this section, where closed threads stay on the first page for days. Posting in threads that haven't been posted in for two days gets newer lower on the page. @ robertekew: Dying because MG runs out is realistically only possible at WS. Let's not get into bossing here, cause you're stupid to try to fight a boss that 2hKO's you with low level MG. The only reason to be at WS these days is for that one NLC quest which nets you fame and those crystal things. Which is 100WS every 3 days. And nonetheless, lvl 3 MG is about 45 seconds. Indeed, SOOOOOO much better than the measly 30 seconds level 1 gives.

Well, when (and if) my pre-dit ever hits CB, I will drop the first point into ME just for the possibility of bombing Ergoth (I have a gpqing guild though) and the possibility of ME training depending on my current cash. After that I will probably let 1 assaulter replace 2S. After that I'm going to max BoT because mobbing>all other forms of training, especially after the BoT range updates. But, that's just my plan...

1. In 7x, possibly 8x, bombing Elder Wraiths will be better exp than any build. Bombing Elder Wraiths can also earn you money, if you turn in those ashes/rags they drop. 2. The BoT range update doesn't seem all that special to me.

(patch madness...) Anyway, the BoT distance didn't change, I think, but you don't necessarily have to touch a monster that's before you to activate the skill. Behind you doesn't work, but you can hit monsters from a ltitle bit of a distance now. Like it's a skill with a bit of range. Or I'm just laggy like hell.

Or I'm just laggy like hell." i believe its not just you, i was just at typhons and experienced the same thing, the range is just with the initial hit i think and assaulter got a hell of a distance upgrade >.>
