My favorite is emerald! Because it has a unique story line, HMs are a big part of the game, +pokenav./dive/trainer call. You'll never get bored! Edit : Oops. Wrong section. I apologize.

Platinum... I like digimon too actually... The anime is better in my opinion, and their games are more fun. Got world ds, world dusk and world dawn :3

Anyone who picks a game from the first two generations disgusts me, truthfully. You played it as a kid because it was a fad, and then decided to like it again in your tween years because Pikachu is "super-kawaii". There was a post on the first page that mentioned the franchise being recycled: he's right. Every game is the same, thus making the D/P/Pt generation the best games because of their vast increase in content. That's it. You don't like Pokmon if you "can't keep up with all of the new ones" or use any of those other pitiful excuses for not liking any game past G/S/C. It's not "unique", you don't earn any brownie points for liking Pokmon just because it went out of fashion ten years ago. Get over yourselves. On-topic: With Platinum being the obvious choice for best Pokmon RPG, I'd say PMD2 is the best out of all of the filler games between generations. Great storyline and soundtrack with decent replay value and well-polished gameplay.

I've played at least one game in each series, and I liked Ruby version the best. I dunno why, just because it was like a step up from the crappy gold/silver/crystal version graphics and because of the extra features. It was the most fun too imo :D

Not everything is the same and i personally believe Gold/Silver was the best in the series besides for Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Not that i don't like Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, but i do think it's one of the weakest of the series. Red/Blue/Yellow was horrible compared to all others. But that is my opinion. ...i want my bug catching contests back. |
