Why do Hackers/Leechers do what they do?

What is the point of Hacking. I mean, you have fun messing with everyone and getting hated for doing it? But why? Do you actually get as much enjoyment in that time then being able to play with your ip legit-like? And for leechers. I understand it's legit, and you have the money to do it. But why do you play. The game is for self accomplishment, as are all competitive mmorpg games like maplestory. If there are any of you out there, please do tell, why do you do it? I want to know truthfully, and I wont troll or flame you for your honest opinion. I just want to know the truth from your veiwpoint. But, if you don't do either, I want your opinions too. Please leave a comment on why you think they do it. And please, no flaming. -JVLapleAlex.

Argh another one of these threads... Let me just point something out: Leeching is not cheap. The majority of people who leech have some type of main that they did "work" for to get that amount of money. Other people who don't...are the ones who scrounge up all the moneythat they have to pay someone to leech them. Eventually, they run out of money, realize they have a character they really don't know how to play, and quit. Also, ....Training in Maple is not a skill. As soon as you learn how to use your skills efficiently, you learn nothing new. Maple is a game. Grinding consists of pressing two-five buttons repeatedly for hours on end. And this is callled a "skill"? Come on people...grinding(for most of us) is NOT fun and this is why many people look towards alternative methods of leveling; ie. LEECH. There is nothing wrong with it as far as I can see. Maybe they're cheating themselves out of an "experience", but what business is that of yours? It's an agreement between two people who both have clear ideas of what they're getting themselves into. WHy does everyone care so much? -___- Besides, Leechers are cute<3 They pay for my pots and fund my new characters. Except the whiny ones that I punch.

Hacking kills the point of the game, which is, like it or not, to grind. What's the point of hacking in maplestory anyway? It's not like there's an ending. The whole point of MS is the journey not the destination. On the other hand, leechers have some justification and at least, it's legit.

Just putting that time and effort is a good feeling. Getting the next job adv., selling good equips, ETC. Sure grinding is that fun but it's worth the feeling you get after.

It is all up to the person.Me personally,I am looking to buy some leech as I want to have the experiance of a high level without going through all of the worl.Here's a real life example:You can slave your life away and earn a million or you can samrtly invest what you earn on a day to day basis and earn the same million a lot sooner.No matter what happens,a million dollars is still a million dollars and I'd rather have it sooner than later.

i used to hack because i got bored of legit i was a nice hacker though, the author of this post is thinking of the mean evil hackers that cause havoc for the other maplers when i was hacking, i would help ppl in pqs. help ppl trian, help them do their quests alot faster, and all the good stuff you can imagine when i was hacking, i would NOT: ks, steal maps, annoy people, and try to d/c them see now, not all hackers are bad!

I plan on leeching from lvl 50 to 57 because my previous hunter I had several monthes ago was unfairly banned and I would like to quickly get back to the level I was at...is that such a bad thing?

I leech because i want to have fun on my marauder. Im used to quick movement, quick kills, from my NL. I leech so i can hit 10X ASAP on my pirate so i can start having some fun, and speed up the kills.

I used to hack because it was much enjoyable, like you always had action, you can PAP at lvl 80 and level so fast and even meet other great hackers who you would hack zakum or HT after the GM hours =) I rather have 8 high accs with zhelm than 1 acc with zhelm. It's actually much more fun, I can't discuss what fun hacks there are since this is a legitimate forum but I'm sure if you hacked yourself or had the mesos to leech (1bil+ for extra funds ), you would probably understand why these certain people "hack" or "leech". And LMAO maplestory has nothing to do with being legit, it only does when your addicted the the dam game. Most people play it to have fun. Succes (lvls and mesos) = fun Some people like succes earlier so they do the things you mentioned, just like how the majority would type a "cheat" in a game to get 1000 gold.
