Hello there, i was just curious on how the rep system works, because i always thought that you can only receive reps from the 2 juniors below you. Well i was on my cousin's account yesterday and he received Rep from the 2 jrs below him, and rep from his junior's junior.(*Note that at the time 6 people were on in the family, the leader, the senior of my character, my character, his 2 jrs, and one of the junior's junior.) So i thought that day, "Why not lead a family that has rep mules(meaning that i would be the leader of the family and i will get the least amount of people to help go down all the way to lv 1, so that everytime i level my beiginners my NL, and every Senior above my beginner would get Rep) So i kept asking around and around and they said that you can only receive rep from your 2 juniors. So i was like "ok, there goes my idea" But then when i logged on today i noticed i got rep from my junior and her junior.(Note that at the time 4 people were on in the family, the leader, myself, my junior, and her junior.) So now i just want to know if my rep mule idea will work or not.

I think it will, but I'm not really sure. I don't totally know how the system works. Remember that you have to be on the same map as somebody to add them as a junior, so you'd need to have 2 comps/accounts.

Yes it does, but it's easier to get your juniors and to get more juniors. Besides, you can only use each entitlement once per day so you don't need hundreds of thousands of rep.

Yes, i know that but im just saying i would have rep present at all times and i wouldn't have to wait for a jr to train and plus i can easily get myself 2x party with the many mules due to the fact i have a second computer with maple handy.

You need to be in the same map as the person you wanna add jr.

works like this: LEADER | SR | you | JR A | JR B k so u just get rep from JR A, and everytime JR B gains exp JR A gets rep and u get half the amount JR A gets =O get it? so ur idea wont work unless ur like lvl 40 and u have a lvl 20 jr, and a lvl 1 jr ._. but ur 125 so nvm just get a normal family. EDIT: the easiest way i could think of making rep mules is making like a lvl 10 char, get a lvl 1-9 jr and start lvling it so that ur lvl 10 gets lotsa rep, then kick that lvl 1-9 and make a new rep mule to train for rep, and then when u have enough, u log on that lvl 10 char, party ur NL with it and get the lvl 10 to buy party exp or drop 2x for 30 mins =O thats like 4-5k rep

No it will not work on your NL since it is not 20 levels diff.

I think that whenever Jr B gains exp, Jr A gets rep and u get half of Jr. B's exp. So, Jr A gets full, while u get half of Jr. B's (not half of Jr. A's)

It sort of works that way. Just be sure to get your juniors as far away a level from you and as active as they could be. I'm guessing that you want 2x EXP, keep in mind you can only purchase one thing once, then you'll have to wait for the next day to buy it again. Oh yeah, forgot to mention you earn extra rep if the family member levels up. I got 360 rep from a family member that leveled up, but I was in the same map as him; not sure if that changes anything.

I put yes as my answer, but that all depends how my play maple story. Because training noobs does not get you personally allot of points, sure it gets all your mules more points but I would think you are not spending allot of time on your mules. So I figure that if you are going to spend reps on something like 2x/1.5x drops/exp that it wouldn't be worth the time to play on your mules forever just to get the reps to only get bonus gameplay for only 15-30 min. That is why I like just having a family that has real players in it because then you get reps all the time (even when you are logged off). EDIT : I also wanted to say (after reading the post of the guy before myself) that I believe you get rep from inviting characters to the family as well as what he already said. By the way I am not 100% sure about this, but I am pretty sure that I got at least 20 rep from inviting my friend.
