imagine you're in a 200 ft tower and your room happens to be a huge prison cell 50 feet tall there are two iron rings at the top of the cell and a fifty foot rope tied to each of those rings (so that's two ropes, two rings) and there's a window in the room which is about halfway up the tower you're pretty good at climbing but if you fall more than a couple feet, you're gonna break some bones (prisoners don't get enough milk!) and you've spent the past couple days sharpening your spoon so it can cut those ropes so how much of rope can you free up and is it enough to get you out of the tower safely?

Honestly, I don't understand it. If the tower is 200 ft tall, the prison cell is 50 feet tall...how do you climb up 100 feet?

So you climb up one rope and cut down the other one. Now you have a 50ft rope with which you somehow climb out of thie window with. I don't understand the question?

honesstly i have no clue how u get in i was asked this riddle n its a piss off like u dun know how much sleep ive lost cuz of this thing Edit:: no theres 2 ropes there close to each other close enough that u can grasp each

is this one of those stop imagining ones? if not yes i can i can climb the first and swing to the second one and grab hold of both of them then when i get to the top i can cut the rope that i used to swing to the other one tie them together and throw it to the window climb up it then hook the ropeto something and climb down Edit: you can't the windows is not in your room

kk uh ill try n explain it better. ur cell has the window in it u can crawl outa the window easily like its not high up or ne thing but the 2 ropes are like next to each other n u can climb up them n cut however muuch u want but cant cut too much cuz then u lll fall n die Editt!@#! and u hafta use the ropes u cut to climb out the window to the ground

Well I would imagine you could just climb the rope assuming the room looks like this (,) (,) [] l / l / l / Climb the rope on the left while holding the 2nd rope. Switch ropes and cut the left one. Cut the 1st rope all the way off. Throw it out the window. CLimb out the window and slowly slide down the rope leaving the building.(Pro answer) Noob answer: Haha You said imagine I don't want to so I solved it.
