Hey guyz, My friend is sitting next to me and we want to connect his pc to our internet, but we can't find the password where can we find it? thx. EDIT: I know it's the wrong section, but in tech no1 answers D;

I'm going to assume you have a password protected external router, correct? You might have to take a look at the physical router to see if any information is stored on it. Navigate to 192,168,0,1 and replace the commas with periods. Then, if the website prompts you for a password, try admin words ("admin,admin" or "admin,password") Take a look around the page and see if you can find the password. If the password is hidden, download Web Developer firefox addon. Under Forms in the toolbar, choose Show Passwords. Note that on some routers, you may need to go to 192,168,0,4

On some routers, it's directly on the router itself. Other routers have no password. Other routers have passwords that were set by someone in your house. Most likely your parents. :P

Making a second thread is spam. People answer in tech, it just might take awhile. Like they said in the other thread, your router probably has a password. If you don't know it you might have to reset your router.
