Is there any real need for blood build anymore?

Hiyas basiliers I was talking with a BM friend of mine today about hp washing, blood builds and whatnots. He has been going with a blood build ( sorta? ) and has around 300 HP more than I do. At level 123 I have 3445 HP with 302 Hp MoN and a 40HP Z-helm ( stll 6 slots left ). So far I have been able to kill and solo pretty much anything in the game, the only things that I can't solo are Skeles ( well I can, but an unlucky hit will kill me ), Capt Latanica and at least the other Pianus. Not sure how much the fishy hits, so I'm guessing I'd die..and of course Tengu and HT and stuff that would kill me even with HB. Everything else is killable, if not by tanking, but by using puppet. So yeah, I personally am not planning on HTing any time soon, if ever, so is there any reason why I should start HP washing or going with blood build? Surely it'll add some all around survivability and when taken as far as some HC players do, I could switch to using more cost-effective pots. But is that all necessary anymore? Oyea, I forgot about the Leafre area boss, that would probably kill me too? Haven't had a chance of meeting it yet. Might as well do it now and see how it goes~

Blood build might be useful in time temple, but that's only in 14X's when BM/MMs have max/high level of SE, Expertise/Boost, and hurricane/pierce. Also good for not having to rely on DK's in zak.

Well, you need around 4.8k base HP to even enter HT. To give you an idea, you would have that much HP clean around Lv. 180 - 190. But I don't know. You will eventually get enough HP to solo skelegons.

Nothing wrong with HP washing... You negative other then high nx usage. Blood build i personally wouldn't... But that's me...

You can solo pap if you blood build. 4.2k hp at 135 xD.

Blood builds are pretty much there to turn 1HKO to 2HKO, and in more extreme cases, 2HKO to 3HKO. If you do not plan on going to those spots earlier than normal, then you won't really need it.
