So my friend gave me his account with a level 58 dexless sin. Totally stripped and only has 2 mil on it. What equips should I try and get, and where should I train to get back up to par?

One thing I recommend if you plan to completely take over that account is to ensure your friend doesn't want it back. Otherwise, get a cheap bracer for now, save up for a decent skanda, and buy LUK equipment if you have monies left over.

Where should I train? I don't do much damage at LMPQ unfortunately.

I would say Zombies or if you can pull it off Hoodoo's are amazing for EXP and Meso. I did Hoodoo's as a Regular Dex Sin from 57-65 so far.
