Sorry for the rant, but maybe others can share their stories here. I'm playing on one of the new servers, and there's simply not many people around. Even when playing on Channel 1 it's not unusual to not see anyone around. So I'm waiting on a ship to get back to Victoria Island. I'm not on Channel 1 and there's no one around. Finally the ship comes in and I can board. I minimize the screen so I don't have to sit staring at nothing. When I went back in to check on things, Balrogs had been summoned and I was dead. I had been the only one on the ship, I have no idea when the other person came on, but they summoned just to kill me. I wasn't doing anything but sitting there. This is the second time trying to get back too, the other time I was disconnected. And you know how long it takes. I'm sorry for the rant but I am really ticked.

LOL nobody summoned anything, they appear at random that's why you have to go inside the boat to be safe.

Balrogs have a 1/10 or so chance of spawning everytime you ride the ship. Noone summoned on you, you're just unlucky.

No, Balrogs just come when you're on the ship. It's perfectly normal. You have to go in the cabin when the ship starts dear.

lol wasnt other person... was gms... you prolly was on vic/orbis or orbis/vic ship... and almost every ride balrogs are summoned there... once i was afk a bit and when i came no rogs... was like a miracle... but when i was noob, i died over 5 times trying to go in a ride from orbis to vic, till a guy told me what to do to be save... T-T but by that time, you needed pay for rides and i had spent all my mesos... and he gave me some mesos for me to take boat... (he was like my 1st maple friend) lol so... yah... just go to a little door in the middle of boat and press up and you'll get safely to your destination... XD
