When i went over to my freind's house he was playing some of his music (death metal) and a death metal band i never knew about which was well known. Cannibal Corpse. I could understand the growning vocals, since everyone who listens to screamo can understand it well, but not fully. So hearing this guy singing the lyrics a song called hammer smashed face. I was like WOAH, disturbing and bizzare lyrics. Not to mention he has all the albums which the first three album covers are scary and haunting. so yeah some ppl say death metal is garbage and their singing trash . no, wrong. i can actually understand it if your actually deep and profound. A typical hip hop , pop , rap fan cannot understand since yeah..their not echt(true) enough.

People who listen to rap/hip hop aren't deep enough? Hip hop is some of the most deep music I've ever heard. Listen to most of 2pac's songs, and also listen to Nas - Nothing Lasts Forever. A lot more deep than people screaming about dying, I think.

Well their lyrics are only like that because they're gore death metal, as cited in their Youtube interview video. o_o If they're scary, then what about all the slam death metal/ gore death metal bands? Cannibal Corpse doesn't really hold a candle to them. But, Hammer Smashed Face is a nice song.(:

Some kid at my school ( I think he may be a neo nazi) where shirts of that band and like dying fetus and there's always like cuts on his head, and his clothing is always telling you to kill something it scares me

At least the Tech Death one changed to Gorod.

Hmm, then last.fm needs some editing. :O I prefer foreign bands, oddly enough. o_o; Like Total Rusak from Indonesia! :D They're amazing, Hengki has pretty much mastered the double-bass. I'm jealous, I cannot do double-bass at ALL. Boo for bad coordination. Foreign bands also have the really awesome intros and outros! :D

D:< Florida Death Metal is pretty much it's own genre.(: I'm stuck in California. The pop-punk band central. *SOB* I can't go anywhere without being mobbed by pre-pubescent kids that think two-stepping at the bus stop is cool. Oh, and don't forget to slap on a dinky From First to Last band shirt and Hot Topic-esque accessories! SO HxC! Some kid threw an orange at me for playing Distorted Impalement on my phone. Yes, I'd like to move. I'm visiting Florida in July, but my family doesn't like... I'll drop it off there. x) A lot of people think Dying Fetus sucks, but they're catchy! :D I'd love to make an emblem for them, but I can't draw death metal signs at all. I did one of my name, and it came out petty well o_o; (On my profil3, for reference of my noobiness). <edit> The main point is, I'd love to see them. They're coming to Hollywood on the seventh! :D

But once I turn 18/21, it's off to all the concerts I can go during college :D. A while back, my friend requested Devourment to play on the morning TV show and half of my class (pretty sure I have the highest concentration of metal listeners in my homeroom) started headbanging. I just silently nodded .

I saw the lyrics from a song by Cannibal Corpse. Song was called 'I Come Blood' or something like that. It was horrible .
