Do People Actually Buy iTunes?

Do people actually buy music downloads from iTunes? Which i find the most foolish thing to spend money ever. Well, the point is do certain people buy these rip off downloads? Where an alternative way used by the urban community in general downloading illegally which has a very low chance of being fined and jailed. The pros of iTunes is well, a short cut form of finding songs easier, good sound quailty i'm amussing, no hidden viruses. The thing i hate about LimeWire is the fact that they dont have half of the songs of an artist or band. If you try to find a song SPECIFICLY in the serach bar, you get like a lot of p0rn files (virus) and some fake song file and usually there isnt a REAL ONE.

If I really like the artist, I'll use iTunes to support them. Otherwise, I'll either buy the album or use limewire.

I think i read somewhere that people who pirate music actually end up buying it alot more then those who don't pirate.

I usually buy the CD if I like the band enough. I dont illegally download it anymore. I also just convert youtube videos to mp3 format.
