well i dont think anyone has gotten this kind of message yet "Hack Shield update Error (805306416)" cannot connect to server. anyone have any idea what this means?

Get rid of maplestory icon, find the Nexon folder with a Maplestory folder in it, find Maplestory exe. and make a shortcut or copy, and put the copy on desktop.

I has o.o Once I click on Maple, my refresh button can't be clicked anymore The HackShield load bar is only at 1/20ths, and won't move passed it D= *Follows thread* I went to the actual Maplestory thingie, and clicked on it Same thing T.T Edit: 3rd time's the charm =3 I got on ^^

Try running the update straight from the update executable (exe file) in your maple story folder. Also, make sure the update for hackshield is added to your firewall, or whatever internet protection you use.

go to your maplestory folder and click on PATCHER and click play =D

adfkjlsdfkhjlsdfhj I am having this same error I've tried all the troubleshooting tips I could find on this forum but none worked. Another person also had this error; both of our parents have blocked the Nexon websites on the internet and I think this is what's causing the connection problem. ): (I'm still solution-less and Maple-less after three days of searching...)
