I want to at LEAST be able to speak chinese fluently by the end of this coming summer. First off, I am chinese, so there are people I could talk to. I have a basic understanding of chinese and can speak some of it. Who can I talk to that will improve my Chinese the MOST. and I mean that I want to see results! Family is kinda awkward because I barely talk at home. So I don't wanna start speaking chinese and then having them ask me "what's up with the new attitude." So how can I best improve my speaking abilities? I plan to learn chinese vocabulary with my dad over summer. But first I want to be able to speak, understand much of the language.

Watch Chinese news, hear lots of chinese on radio, ask your parents to teach you basic vocab for talking and greeting and communication. Vocab can come later
