| Bowmaster's hurricane vs Gunslinger's rapid fire. Which one does more DPM? I know that rapid fire isnt gunslinger's main attacking move but i just want to know which one is better. Both bowmaster and GS is regular build and they have perfect equip. |

| Bowmasters, by far. Hurricane + crit + SE = smex. |

| Hurricane will win against Rapid Fire. Reasons: 1. Gunslingers do not have a critical attack unless they have sharp eyes. A Bowmaster has a 40% chance to do 200% with normal Critical Shot, and with Sharp Eyes added, they get another 15% chance to add 40%. 2.Even though RF has more % damage (150% for RF, compared to 100% for Hurricane), Gunslingers generally have a lower damage range? Level 165 Corsair Damage Range (I couldn't find a high level Bowmaster Damage range, so I still don't know if this reason is true) |

Their damage formula is higher than a bow, but you don't see too many godly guns lying about. That and at the time that screenshot was taken, we only had Vital Bullets instead of the Current Shiner and the eventual Eternal. |

Yeah, I would say that just for now, Gunslingers typically have a lower damage range than bowmen. |

Gun + Bullet sets also have less attack than Bows, and BMs have Bow Expertise, which gives them 90% mastery and 10 extra attack. BMs have way higher base damage than us. With max SE Hurricane does 232% per arrow vs our 160%. No contest. Rapid Fire is a crappy move. |

| I wouldn't say that rapid fire is a crappy move. Its more like Hurricane is just that godly. |

| I wouldn't say that Hurricane is godly. Its more like rapid fire isn't as good as other skills. |

So then if hurricane is normal, and rapid fire is sub-par.... triple throw must be utter crap? Considering on straight damage without extra buffs rapid fire does more. I think that's a little off-base considering that people seems to love their NLs so much. |

But I'm pretty sure an unSE'd RF still beats an unSE'd TT + SP |

| I'm referring to buffs that would have to be provided by other classes in my above post, if that was unclear to some of you, sorry. This means no SE for either one of them. NLs get SP since it's their own skill, Corsair has advanced homing. After all, it would indeed be pretty silly if they weren't using a skill that they possessed. For anyone who would like to look at the numbers I'm talking about: ....EDIT: wait.... what? I can't link to what I'm trying to show you all? ....0_o; Why not? It's on another MS fansite. Grrr, fin, I'll just take a screenie of it. 4th job single target DPS comparison All credits to who actually created that are in the screenie. Going by that, Hurricane = smex, Rapid fire = hawtness, Triple Throw = not quite as much hotness, but still cool. |

| NLs have Venom and Corsairs don't use Bullseye to train. Rapid Fire's usefulness doesn't extend to training nearly as much as bossing. |
