What the Atomic Bomb the right Choice?

I just want to know your opinions. *Was dropping the atomic bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima a good choice?* So I've read most of the comments (They come faster than I read them!) and it seems most of you are for the dropping of the bombs, and a few of you are against it. I noticed that the ones who are againts it didn't put much proof or evidence lol. here's my opinion: It was a good idea. Ended the war. Got them back for Pearl Harbor. Saved more people than we killed. Some more reasons than I can't remember right now :P Umomafan said: "In the long run, yes. Because it showed that the US wasn't one to be pushed around on. yes. It was an intimidation factor that stopped china from invading russia. If china invaded russia, then russia couldnt of have fought germany. If the bomb wasnt dropped then you and me could be 3rd generation nazis... xD

It ended the war, and besides, at least it wasn't Tokyo. Back then, the Empire wasn't exactly something to be proud of because of Pearl Harbor. If they had declared war on us before blasting the harbor to bits, the outcome of the war wouldn't end up with a smoking crater that was a good chunk of the two cities. --- And if we didn't do it in time, the Germans under control by the National Socialist Party would have developed the bomb and used it on US!
