Like many others, my Maple isn't working. I keep getting: HackShield: Update Error 805306512 Update timeout occurred in HackShield update program. I've tried so many things, but nothing seems to be working. Basically, I open Maple, then wait for like 5 minutes, then that message pops up. I noticed that that when I look at my Processes in Task manager that MapleStory.exe is listed there. I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Please help. D: I'd be greatly appreciated. (:

same here my first error was 1706 then i redownload and now i got Error 805306512............... i hate hack shield..........we want game guard back!

hmm its possible that its the file isnt completely installed on ur computer or sum of the programs r missing idk exactly wat ur problem is so its kinda hard to explain w/o knowing wat ur trying to expalin

go to your nexon file, then click on maple story, then click on patcher. it will lead you to maplestory.

go to ur ms file in C drive and click the application to run MS see if that works

Happened to me and 3 other friends too you can always try to delete maplestory [everything] then redownload it. that worked for me and my friends o-o

I've redownloaded twice now and tried going to the maple folder and opening there. =/

Yes, I did. Same thing pops up after awhile.

Did you uninstall the program from the Remove Programs section?
