extra skill points before 4th job

Hi I'm new to the whole posting thing, But I have a question about which skill I should put my extra points into. I'm maxing meso explosion, pick pocket and meso guard and by the time im done with that I should be around level 114. Im level 95 right now. I'll have about 18 points or so left over by that time. So which one is more useful and which one should i put the extra points into? Chakara or Shield mastery?

what does shield mastery do? imo, it sounds useless o-O from the words of it, i would go chakra => shield mastery lol

both useless, since you have MG. most people do chakra because of naruto. right?

Chakra can save you hp pots.

Okay, i suggest you to max Dark Sight if you didn't already do that. Or if you didn't max the skills that gives you more avoid in 1st job, it saves you some pots afterall ;) Chakra would save you some pots, but it takes time to cast and you might risk dieing cause of you will take 2x dmg when the skill is casting (like... if you recast all skills and dont have MG, and a mob spawns on you in Leafre you will die instand). Shield Mastery will give you very little defence bonus from the shield equipted if it is a panlid/mapleshield... kanjar/dragon kanjar gives "alot" more (only from the shield, not the rest of your equiptment... wich i think is a shame). But this skill is passive and in my eyes more usefull to you so you can survive higher monsters (only a few dmg, but it might save you). It is 100% your choice. My suggestion is: Max Dark Sight, and rest in Shield Mastery and avoid skills. I went shieldmastery and avoid myself (have already maxed Dark Sight). Now, im waiting for 4th job to come to EMS, atm with 39 unused skill points since lvl 120 XD

Well this is going to be a hard decision to make. Does shield mastery give avoid as well? You said you went SM and avoid. But anyways. 4th Job hasn't come out in EMS yet? So wait once you pass level 120 do you keep getting skill points while you level in 3rd job? Can't you spend those points and when 4th job comes out they will give you points for how many levels you missed in 4th job or does it not work that way. Either way early gratz on becoming a shadower.
