Low-dex or Dexless?

Well, I've been debating all day and I can't seem to figure out which one would be best? I would think Dexless because of that high lvl claw that requires 300 luk, but those things are expensive! I'm leaning towards Dexless, but I want to hear from the pros! Please no flaming, I need honest opinions and please state your reasons. My funding so far is 13m, 9 ilbis, 4 steelys, 11 attk wg, 95k nx! WORK YOUR MAGIC BASIL! -8Ball

Low DEX can and will be better than a DEXless with the proper funding. The extra weapon att. is much better in the later levels.

Dexless until level 120, then swap to low dex. Reasoning : TT is based heavily on W ATK, which a dexless cannot match up with a low dex. Up to 4th job however, dexless totally outshines low dex / reg dex. ~Utopian

Well, I have another question. In another thread, someone asked what class would you make if you had 10b or something. Mostly everyone said Dexless sin? Why is that?

Dexless is dumb. Don't be Dexless. If you go dexless, you are basically saying "Hey, I want to gimp myself later lol". Low Dex = best. You get to a point of wearing say, a Scarab without ANY Dex equips. From them on, don't add anything to Dex. You can get items such as zhelm, scroll it with Dex. Facestompers with Dex. A face accessory with Dex. You get Dex from items that CANNOT be scrolled with Luk. Everything else, get a luk scrolled item. The purpose of this is to get Dex from items that can only be scrolled with Dex to use a dragon sleeve. Also, remember, Maple has grown a lot over a long time, you never know if they will add 150+ weapons, which will require a HIGH amount of Dex. Hell, use an Owl of Minerva sometime. You see those lvl 120 weapons with no names? Yea. They will eventually be in game. I'm a normal Dex sin at the moment, 120 into Dex and I'm level 92. People who see my damage question if I'm Dexless, and I laugh at them. Sure, I great equips, but being Dexless requires just as good if not better equips. IMO, be a normal sin. Put Dex in when you need to for weapons, and stop when you reach scarab Dex level. Calculate your gear availability, and go from there.

Many people think that DEXless are expensive, since they stereotype them as people who HAVE to buy a zhelm, a 15 ATT WG, a Facestomper, a high ATT PAC, etc. But of course, if you give the exact same equips to an regDEX, the DEXless would beat them with a equal fund claw. They aren't require to get any of that. People usually capped it around 50-90. I consider a lowDEX to have around 60 DEX lower than the DEX require claw. Like if you want to wear a Scarab keep your DEX at 50. Of course, that's what I considered it, since there should be a limit to differentiate lowDEX and normal DEX. Anyways, your capping point all depends on your funds. The more funds you have the lower you can cap it. [DEX requirement of Claw] - [Amount of DEX from equips, not including the claw] = your cap. I also suggest start out as DEXless and start converting around 10-13 levels after the level of the claw you want to wear. That way, you have enough time to plan and gather all the end DEX equips you need to convert, make an immediate conversion, and be able to wear the claw right away.

Low dex FTW! I'm capped at 85 base dex. My damage range is 1749-3053 clean (without pots/maple warrior/etc).
