 | Stay Away From Pig Beach! I went to Pig Beach today. I found that place had a lot of dead noobs there. Why? Because the pigs there have been infected by a Virus! Oh no! MapleStory caught the Swine Flu! Of course, pigs got infected first, but it's now us! Ahhh~! Stay away from Henesys and Perion! Some of my friends who ventured out to Pig Beach got infected and died. That was a hard earned 10% that was wasted! All we can do is avoid the areas and let the GMs fix the problem. I heard some rumors that some players fell into a coma too! That's pretty scary stuff! Oh yeah, the GMs updated us that there is a possibility that other monsters have been effected too! Stay safe while playing MapleStory! Areas of Infection! While in Henesys, Beware of.. Pig Ribbon Pig Iron Pig While in Perion, Beware of.. Wild Boar Flaming Boar Iron Hog If any other swine-species were not listed, it would be greatly appreciated to help keep our notice of the Swine Flu aware and up-to-date. This does not guarantee that you will not contract the Swine Flu. Other monsters may be infected as well, so stay away from them! Stay safe while playing MapleStory! Reminders & Hazards! Stay away from the suggest areas. Read through thread for in-depth discussion. If a player is acting abnormal, report the player to the GM. Tell all your friends and any person that passes by about Swine Flu of MapleStory! If they die, it's not because they were stupid, it's because they were uninformed! It is advised that non-ranged characters and melee players to avoid all contact as possible. To date, physical touch is the most certain way to be infected of the Swine Flu! Even magic using monsters. SHUN THEM! If you know anyone has been infected with Bird Flu, report it to a GM and stay away from them! Avoid crowds at the Free Market. In the event that someone has Swine Flu, everyone inside may be at risk! UPDATE! Don't get on your mount unless it's the Level 200 Dragon! Get a cover for your mount in the Cash Shop so you can safely ride your Mount! Invest in Speed scrolls and Jumps scrolls! Party with Rogues for their Haste! Pirates, use Dash to run from pigs! If you are a WARRIOR, Switch to a Pole Arm or a spear. The longer the weapon, the better. Just don't get touched or you may become infected. Otherwise, there's nothing you can do. Just sit it out. Paladins? FIRE CHARGE! Kill it with Fire! If you a BOWMAN, Keep your distance from pigs if you dare! Avoid the pigs to get close into contact. If they come too close, attempt to use PKB. If you don't have PKB, be extremely careful. If you're a MAGICIAN, Stay as far from pigs as possible! If they come too close, teleport out of their line of path! Spells of the Ice element have been found to be quite effective against Flaming Boars. Shock them if they get too close! Fight Poison |
