Started this thread because of the chaos because of the Hackshield updateNo Ill be updating this guide as the day goes on so that we can hopefully fix all these problems Please post the problem that you have/error code and message or if you have the solution to the problem please post it. HackShield Problems Hack Shield : Intitialization Error (66817)Detected game hack tool execution Not Solved Could not connect to server 1. Restart your computer 2. Delete GameGuard folder from your MS folder 3. Run ASPLnchr in the MS folder 4. Open task manager & end process for ASPLnchr 5. Launch MS as usual Error Code 1706 (Please Wait while microsoft configures Maplestory) and Missing File Problem 1. Go to My Computer 2. Locate your Nexon Folder and open 3. Find maplestory.exe 4. Right Click maplestory.exe and hit create shortcut/move to desktop 5. Drag the new shortcut to desktop Step 5 depends on vista/windows xp MapleEurope/ Maple Brazil Problem I think that Nexon is aware of this because if you made your account before a certain day that said you are fine to play GMS. This is Hackshield Ip check thats causing this. Should be fixed shortly Hack Shield: error (805306416) Cant connect to server Not Solved

Or u could go to Ur MsSetupv66 and Click on Repair. Worked for me

Also, Since my dad didn't make me the administrator, I was on a user account, it won't work without the right security enabled on your user account. If your using a regular user or guest account, tell the administrator to change you to an admin account or try to fix it to let you use that type of function with hack shield. Thats what happened to me and I solved it.
