MapleStory Not Opening *Security Update Bug*

Problem: MapleStory may not open after you complete the Patch and play for the first time and quit, then you launch again but it doesn't work. It can't find the file. Solution: The simple solution is to go to your MapleStory Installation folder and Update Your Shortcuts. (The MapleStory.exe in your Installation folder should work, replace old shortcuts with that). Copy+Paste or Drag your MapleStory.exe to where you want to make a new shortcut. Then delete your old shortcut and rename your new shortcut to MapleStory or something similar. Hope it helps! You can also delete your old GameGuard folder! (Free up space!)

Thanks, I was just about to need it. I got disconnected when I bought something in the MTS, I then wanted to re-open maple, and windows installer popped up. I would've gave you a kudo if there was a kudo system on basil. >;]

thanks a lot. it said something about XP compatibility mode identifying as hacking or something and then it came up as an install thing unable to find the msi file, I did this and its ok.
