im trying to learn how to link things, but something isnt working... anyone see my error? its a limk to the stickied training guide in bowman fourms. no, the periods arent there in the real test [.s=http://www.basilmarket.com/fourm/881619/0//The_Stickied_Training_Guide.html#] test [./s]

Aya, just do [url.=http://www.basilmarket.com/fourm/881619/0//The_Stickied_Training_Guide.html#] The Stickied Training Guide [./url] [s] tags are for linking withing the same page, and generally used for Table of Contents within guides.

ok, so now lets say i want to link something in the table of contents, and im using the s tags. i read the guide that says i need a different header to get to the specific header, but i dont understand ToughUnicorn said: " quote me " so i did

You need to have a [name] tag. Ie: Quote me <- This link will take you to the [name] tag. My guide's got tons of [name] tags. Example: Quote this link too.

i put them there because it didnt work in the first place for some reason. ill take them back out. mabye its just me, but my links always go the the basil homepage, and not a specific fourm or topic.

Actually, that one will work perfectly. Aya, play around in scraps a bit and you'll get it. Tip: If you're linking, you gotta put http:// in there.
