AR or Strafe build first? I posted another thread a while ago concering capping my str, (you) the people of Basil suggested i leave my STR where it is (68). Now, at 68 STR a Zhelm and a DEP star and the lvl 90 overall thats a total of 91 str not enough to equip the metus. Now adding a 10 str pac, 101 total str, I have enough for a Metus and not enough for a Nisrock. Should i get AP resets and lower my str so that i can equip the Metus as my end game bow or is there another way to equip a Nisrock w/o an HT pendant? (i would prefer if i could use an overall instead of a str top dex bottom combo)

Aya, add a little Str if you need to, no need to lower it. As for AR/Strafe, this is quite useful. Or, just flip a coin.

well according to your armor and status, you are not even 3rd job yet. I wouldn't even worry about a metus for awhile, let alone a nisrock. get a str overall.... according to your math your overall gives you 3-4 str. You can scroll a 10+str overall

I think you should just go for a top/bottom combo. You can get more stats for cheaper.

str shoes help a red wg also does wonders. nice cape and mabye you snag some str from your overall.

The best I can suggest is throwing a 30% STR scroll on the first slot of your overall and then finishing it with DEX as you see fit. There's nothing wrong with raising your Base STR though. Until GMS gets HT Pendants that can be egged three times it's 100% pointless to use them instead of the MoN. Since Zakum was released a couple/few years back and we still don't have Zakum Helmet 2/3 yet I wouldn't bother worrying about it quite honestly.
