| I just want to know which class you would recommend, based on these factors: - Fun - Bossing - Training --- Funding isn't a problem. i have a shadower, and i fear buccaneer's are very similar. Is that something to worry about? |

| Bossing - Corsire Training - Bucc Fun - Depends on personal preference Bucc are simler to shadowers in terms of close combat style and SOMEWHAT close damage, with Buccs having a SLIGHTLY higher damage. |

| Yeah but, a 14x+ Buccaneer could be accepted into runs. and Corsairs at peak can train very efficiently. |

| If we're talking pure fourth job I'd take the Corsair, they're great at bossing and good at training too. Fun is a purely personal preference, however I like them for the amusement that comes from wings/recoil and the ship is hella' funny to float around in a make little newbies ask questions about it. Mind you though, that's just fourth job. GETTING THERE is a whole 'nother story with these two classes. |

Anyway I'm NOT saying Buccs CAN'T Boss and I'm NOT saying Corsires SUCK at training I'm just saying Corsires are better at bossing then Buccs and Buccs are better at training then Corsires |

| Both are pretty nice. A corsair would be better if you like bossing. Bucc if you like a variety of skills. A bucc with connections can get into Ht/zak early as long as they have time leap. |

| remember buccaneers have 3 skills which give them 1 to 2 seconds godmode, meaning they are very good at soloing bosses on high levels, also their damage is godly and they have a lot of different and very new unique skills. corsairs off course got a lot of unique skills to but for me the look to much like a archer/assasin combo, its also harder to get to 120 as a gunslinger cause of low damage thill 70 and mid range damage thill 120. brawlers got godly damage but from lvl 70 they can get a bit harder to train but after that it gets faster again well what is more fun, riding a boat or becoming a super sayan? |

A bit biased wouldn't you say? And sorry mid ranged damage from 70-120? Bring me a dexless sin, and I'll ks a dexless sin to show you my mid range damage ok? Btw a Brawler's damage is NOT godly therefore don't put them onto a pedestal, their damage is not weak, but it is not considered godly. @ OT: Why is there so many threads like this on basil? just go click a page or two back and read comments and choose....people and their inability to make a decision these days @.@ |

Having a few skills that makes Buccaneers go into god mode doesn't make them better at bossing. It's useful, but not better. Also, the damage is pretty average if you ask me. All that insanely high damage with Barrage is just unnecessary with training because it usually just over kills the monster (especially at higher levels) and it doesn't have that effect on bosses because they can't be stunned. Demolition does something like 3200%, but it's a very slow skill. As for Corsairs, they aren't really anything like Assassins, and they play different than Archers. They a different class all on their own, just like Buccaneers. And Outlaw's having mid range damage? No. |

| personally i have to say that buccs cant really boss until 4th job, our single target damage is not so great compare to other jobs. At lvl 97 i still cant really boss anything. but training has been really fun for me. |

Probably only thing I ever soloed as an Outlaw were most of the area bosses and the PQ bosses because their damage was pretty low compared to other bosses you'll find. |
