I found some 12 speed shoes today and was wondering, if I bought them, how long would they last me, and what should my end game shoes be? EDIT: 80 base dex, I don't think I should be getting acc shoes o_O

Most likely, you can replace one item for something that can benefit your atk or accuracy more and get speed shoes for a fraction of the price even clean Facestompers are worth.

Speed shoes will never be considered as " end game " shoes. Actually, Warriors should have more than a pair of shoes. Before I use this NRW ( Night Raven's Wing, lvl 90 2H Sword which requires 95 Dex) I used to have 19 Speed 6 Jump shoes + 14 ACC 4 Str shoes + 2 Att/5 Dex FSs. Speed shoes were used for training and ACC ones for high lvled bosses or anything that requires more ACC ( like Headless Horseman and such, cause Iam Dexless), FSs were not that useful .. only used 'em for bossing, the extra 1-2 att they were giving did not make a big of a difference and was not worth it, especially at lower lvls. In the end, I ended up selling all of these shoes to get Dex RSSs mainly cause I need the Dex they give for my NRW and I also have so much fun when training with max Jump+Speed :p. But for you, I know that you could afford a cheap pair of 10-12 speed shoes for training and lvl 90-100 shoes with 4-5 Str with some Dex and jump for bossing + Acc shoes ( only if you needed more acc ). Again, with more funds you could always get better shoes and upgrade the other equips as well, so " end game " shoes are not the same for everyone since not everyone has the same amount of funds. Edit: @ Dusk: I have max speed and jump without speed shoes as well: XD 6 speed 23 jump from shoes. 6 speed MoN. 10 speed pill. 8 speed Bottom.. will NEVER find any better speed bottom for females D; 10 speed from IC2, my PAC does not make any difference when training o.O I still 2HKO with Blast and 3HKO with ACB >.> All in all, Warrriors really need to have speed/jump equips along with their att/str ones.

Well, like you said, you are DEXless... you would need the accuracy from shoes in the long run (or in your case, the DEX for the NRW). But, if you need neither the DEX or accuracy, there is nothing else as useful as speed-scrolled shoes... and yes, they CAN be considered end-game equipment. If you were to have all other stats accounted for (mainly accuracy and DEX) and since Facestompers just don't have much of a use for their cost, all that is left is covering distance when training. Jump MAY help in some cases, but it's rare that speed will not. Travelling between monsters faster means faster kills which equals higher exp per hour. Edit @ Dusk: If you don't need the accuracy from those shoes, you could attempt to get a 15 speed shoe and no longer require speed pills.

That 20m could afford you 278 days worth of non stop speed pills.

SenyainI'm going with Zexord. Jump and speed combination is IMO the best combo you can put on shoes. (Actually, I think it's acc + speed, but if you don't need any more acc then it obviously has no real purpose - even if the jump shoes do cost more than twice as much.) Ideally, a snowshoe with either 10 avoid, 6 acc, 2 speed or 10 jump, 6 dex, 2 speed, and then the final five slots scrolled for speed (best outcome = 12). If you somehow manage to get an epic result like 19 speed, great, but that was most likely one of those extremely expensive shoes that start with speed and jump and 7 slots on them. For mainstream warriors I'd say the above ending up with 10-12 speed is more than sufficient.

Honestly, Face Stompers are a complete waste of mesos unless you already have every other weapon upgraded pretty good and you have huge load of funding to spare.
BigBenz 04/26/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
Do not get Facestompers they are worthless to Warriors cause you couldve just used that mesos to buy yourself a good decent weapon. Get speed shoes instead.

And to think that after the first run of building the video characters and using Avenger myself, I was just beginning to build some respect for the job itself.

It helps loads at CG and skeles. You can get up stairs/ladders faster and with max jump you can jump over skele's magic attacks.

Please log in the game, so I can flame the hell outta you Senyain: the violet snowshoes (5 speed, 5 jump, 7 slots) can be found for 7mil in fm in bera o_O I found some 7 speed 7 slot ones for 10mil though. Of course, than can be expensive for some people, but I think it's a decent price.
