| A lot of players in the Maplestory community are considered what we "Pro's" call "Noob's". Now you may ask "What makes a noob?" or "How can i become a pro?". Becoming a pro is a long and life-staking task, meaning if you have a social life prepare to lose it (Just kidding XD). Being a noob is not completely based on you're level. Many noobs think that this is the reason they are being called a noob and so they level as quickly as they can and then become what is called a Pro-noob. A Pro-noob is a high level that has the mindset of a noob. Now if you ever wanted to know what makes a noob or how to become a pro then keep reading. If you are already considered a pro by you're peers then if you'd like, contribute to this thread and suggest ideas i might not of thought about. Introduction Have you ever walked around Henesys and seen a higher level and just felt the urge to ask for mesos? So you sent him a trade request and said almost instantly "Mesos Please!" or "I really need mesos =(!" and then he replies "NOOB!" and cancels the trade. Then you ask you're self "Why was i called a noob all i did was ask for mesos, he should have pleanty of mesos at his level." This may be true, however, with more mesos means more spending. To be able to gain a lot of mesos you have to spend alot of mesos or alot of real money. Therefore these "Pro's" most of the time can't afford to give you mesos. Besides it doesn't take that much to earn mesos. If all i have said above has happened to you then this guide is for YOU . Yes you! In this guide we are going to cover: • Why am i considered a noob? • How can i become a pro? • What not to do as a pro. Why am i considered a noob? Ever wondered why people call you a noob? Its probably because you do some (or all) of the things below. • 1. Ask for mesos from higher levels. This is not exactly a bad thing if you are friends with the person but if you are asking complete strangers this is a major sign for being a noob. • 2. Make common errors in your knowledge of the game. If you are talking to someone about the game and you happen to say something like "Yesterday i was killing balrogs in Perion at level 10". You will be called a noob for two things: balrogs do not spawn in Perion and are also way to hard for a level 10 to kill. • 3. You are level 30 and you mistake this for being a high level. Yes some people do think that level 30 is a big achievement. Though level 30 may be higher then the guy beside you, you are not considered a pro. Pro's usually consider 50-200 being a pro but it can vary from person to person. I in particular do not look at levels as a sign of noobhood but the knowledge the individual has of the game instead. • 4. Attitude! Being a noob is a lot about your attitude towards other players as well. If you're always acting like you know more than the guy beside you, are stronger then the guy beside you, and are more of a pro then the guy beside you. Then you will definitely be considered a noob. | That's weird... People still call me a noob, but they're actually Pro-noobs... So if a pro-noob calls me a noob, does that make me a noob? Or maybe they're not a pro-noob, and that would make me a pro-noob for thinking they were? Or would I be a noob for thinking that I was a pro-noob? o.0 |

If the adv. one is as good as this, it should be stickied imo. I don't care if people merchant, just scamming is bad. Because in merchanting, there is a mutual agreement to trade between 2 people. SOme guys might disagree, but that's my opinion. |

Thanks on the compliments first off and secondly there is a line between scamming and merchanting. Merchanting is buying an item for less and selling for higher. Scamming is buying an item for WAYYYYY less and selling for ALOT higher. |
