What exactly do mastery books do? And Also what do story books do too?

They master a skill

With fourth job skills, you use story books to get some, and as for mastery books, all skills start off as maxed at ten, and you have to pass a [skill]20 then a [skill]30 to raise the mastery level. Huge inconvenience.

KeaneHealerare there diff story books for different skills of each job? or is it just 1 skill book per job that adds some one skill?

Its hella annoying -.- I couldnt add to MW cause it was capped at 10
