(cont. from title) desert and you run out of water. your caravan (by that, i mean animals and supplies, not other people) only has enough food to last for one week, and you have no idea how long itll take before you reach any kind of civilization. you've got three camels pulling your caravan and one which you are riding. being the foolhardy idiot you are, you forgot to charge your GPS and theres roughly 2 hours left of charge in it, and your cell phone has no reception. what would you do?

Open the GPS for a sec to check if there are any civilizations around me, and if its far i'd memorise the path and close my GPS, turning it on just to refresh my mind and repeat until i reach the place.

Somehow hook up the battery of the cell phone to the gps. Find civilization. Eat food and drink milk from camels and the stuff from my Caravan.

Easy. Use the GPS to find your coordinates. Re-record your cellphone to say "Im in a desert at [coordinates], need help", instead of saying your name when your voicemail comes up. Sit and wait, this is assuming your not a hermit and somebody will miss you. XD
