Questions for STR Shadowers

Well I'm really motivated to get to 4th job for some reason, even though it won't be easy. Like most shadowers, I plan to go str...which brings up some questions. Please number 'em when you answer :D 1. How much BASE STR should I have (not including equips)? 2. Should I stick with my LUK top or get a STR one? 3. If I do add to STR with AP, how much should I have, and when should I start? 4. How much base DEX should I have by 120? (I prefer low dex) I might have more questions, which I'll edit onto here... Please note that I'm not using a zhelm and don't ever plan to! Thanks :D --------------------------------------- EDIT: Here's a list of expected AP helpers and bases, but like I said, I don't have a full-proof plan, so PLEASE help me brainstorm. Expected Equips 1dex 4luk Silver Identity 17str 1dex 4luk Dark Pirate Top 14-17dex Dark Pirate Bottom 5-7 dex Dark Pirate Boots (?) 5/5/5/5 Deputy star (can't estimate the outcome of a Chaos Scroll) 2att 8dex PAC (currently have, can replace with a better one later) 10dex single earring Req Stats For Expected Equips at Level 120 75 STR 150 DEX 220 LUK Expected Base Stats 35 STR 100 DEX (hopefully I can bring it down, but not likely) 220+ luk (already done) Stats With Expected Equips 35+ 23 = 58 dex (really need advice on how to improve) 100+ (44-49) = 144-149 dex (need advice on how to improve) Luk is fine already That's only a rough idea of how it's gonna turn out. So please help me build on that.

i think most low dex cap their dex around 90ish?

i capped my dex at 85. I think a str top would be more beneficial if you plan on using a khanjar/ dragon khanjar

It ALL depends on the following: 1) How much funding you have 2) The current equips you have 3) How much money you are willing to use 4) The equips you plan to use for an "end-game" set Sorry to burst your bubble, but you won't be getting detailed ideas unless you mention those things...

Funding and planning plus patience. I have been a strdit since the begining and its alot of fun. Thanks to Khanjars raining out of the boxes more people should have a chance to enjoy being a strdit! xD

Current stuff: 2dex 8att lvl 20 thief gloves (I don't think I'm gonna replace for a while) 13luk black pao 13dex black sneak pants 2att 8dex pac 1dex 4luk silver identity (won't replace) I'll use as much money (mesos) as possible, and maybe 50k nx? Not entirely sure. And I hope to get to 140+. I'll put the stuff to good use for sure though. Should I buy stuff needed with NX or mesos? And how much str should I try for in a top, and dex in a bottom?

Nowadays, almost everyone at least has a zhelm by 70. And you not wanting to replace that crappy hat of urs will make u rele suck later on. More so OT: Did u mean you are going to be a luk dit and how much STR u should cap? cuz if so, alot of dits cap around 30 since they have zhelm+ star dep+ str tops to equip their khanjar. As of dex, cap around 80, or depending on what you want your end-game dagger to be and if u have the funding to get there. All i have to say is good luk, b/c if u plan to stay a below average/average dit, u must be here just to play Maple for 10 hours to lvl. Have fun man.

Uhm...I didn't get my Zakum Helm until I was 99, and I know for a fact that Mesmorizer is planning on earning his... I haven't quit yet, though my damage is very sub-par (I'd say the TS is WAY better off than I ever was); I have fun on my character, with the knowledge that I'll get stronger as time goes on~ Regarldess of equips, a CB can reel in about 30% an hour in their 80's-90's...its called Typhoons x_x And even if I don't train at Typhoons, I can still gain about 12-15% an hour at Gobies and such~ As a re-cap: You have no clue about Shadowers/ CB's and have no reason to give him faulty, and very untrue information~

I have a base str or 25, base dex of 70. I suggest you get a str + dex top, like a top with dex on it already and scroll it for str. Or just a pure really high str top. 3rd questions, pick an end game weapon, then get the best equips you can get so you don't have to use AP into dex and str. Once you get the best equips, add AP into the areas if you still need more to equips your endgame weapon. 4th, like i said, it all depends on your end game weapon, base dex all depends on your funding and what equips you can get. The lower the better.

No zakum helm will make it a bit tougher to be low dex/low str, but you can just add some more points into your base dex/str. Normally, I would say cap base dex between 85 and 100 and base str between 30 and 40, but for you the caps might be a little higher. Also, I personally would replace that luk top with a str one, because it would allow me to have lower base str. @futbol: I still don't have mine :P But I'm going to earn it soon with my guild.

Unless he plans on using a timeless dagger (which won't be out until Pink Been is), he will not need 160 dex, only 150 (and 80 str). Both the level 110 dagger (Dragon Kanzir) and the Dragon Khanjar (str shield) only need 75 dex total .
