why ms make us dumber

because ms is 2D (not 1D) and we live in a 3D world. playing too much ms can change our perspective looking into the real world because in ms everything is so simple and transparent while our real world is not. discuss omgbob said: "I wouldn't exactly say MS makes us dumber from the simple fact that it's a 2D sidescroller and since we live in a 3D world it will make us 'idiots.' I personally can not find a direct co-relation in the two, but I personally think MS may help us learn about some life lessons and how to communicate with other people. Also, I wouldn't fine it a safe assumption to say MS is transparent and and we are not be a good reason either. You may say, 'your marks will go down from play MS' or 'I used to get 5 As in school now I only get 2 As' that could be due to the fact that you're spending too much times on games and you need to spend it on other things that are school related. When you say that NX is a waste of money and your life (even though I've never bought NX) you can either MTS for some NX or as long as yo keep the amount of NX under control (as in you don't spend every penny you have on it, just as a very small hobby or a birthday present) it's fine, unless you or your family is under economic pressure. In that case you have you have to learn self control (see? learning skills). When you say NX is a waste of time, think about it, unless you go to every single card store it's only going to take all of 15 minutes to buy cards. What kinda of world saving task could you do in 15 minutes or how would it majorly affect your life just by walking or biking to a card store? If you have to take a long car ride, I would you recommend you find a closer location or just MTS." first of all thx for writing all that. nx dont make us dumber but just more addicated to this game. One of the reason why some ppl used to get 5As but only get 2As now is because they play spend too much time in this game. but i have another theory, i think the fact that people get addicated to ms is because ms makes life easier. There are only so many rules in ms like how the economy works in the game and which monster you have to kill to lvl up...etc But in real life, in school you have to learn new things everyday you usually have a exam 1 week after you finish this unit after the exam then you'll have new material to study. most people find that boring that's why they spend time to play ms, by playing ms they feel like they are more in control of their life. 1 hour of ms a day = 1 hr less to study or 1 hr less to sleep = maybe pay less attention in class= make 1 small mistake on your math test (which will result you to get no points for this whole problem) = getting a 89 instead of a 90 on your final grade. because playing ms makes us feel like we are in control of our life, we tend to care less about other important things in

That's quite a interesting proposal. But, I'd have to say this is the same thing with TV. TV is 2D, not 3D. So does TV make us dumber? Well, TV is technically 2D because it is flat. Pictures are also relatively flat, only if you see them side ways there not.

TV is 2D but everything in there is 3D. ms is a 2D game. when u watch tv or painting...etc u just watch them but ms u interact, which makes you become simple minded about everything around you.
