How can i make a strless or low str crossbow man?

Im trying to make a strless character but i dont think using the level 64 maple weapon is the smartest thing to do for the rest of the game. Should I stay with the 64 maple weapon or start raising my str or what. I need some help.

You should start raising Str around level 80 to stay on par.

Unless that level 64 weapon has around... 5 30/10%'s worked on it, go low str. Otherwise, your damage would compare to normal/low str archers, or in most cases, you'll be weaker. Your TOTAL str should be enough for your weapon.
