Ok, to understand what im talking about next read this article: link tl; dr: New version of windows 7 - RC(Release Candidate) comes with a new option, which works kind of like a virtual machine, but instead of having 2 separate OSes running, one in a window of the other, this makes WinXP windows and Win7 windows coexist; as if they were combined. To the point: This allows you to run incompatible win7 programs in win7. Kind of like virtual machines, but it integrates directly; the question is: "would win7 users be able to play MS with this without lagging like hell?(putting Nexon's supposed switch to hackshield aside) Let's hear what you guys think.

Compatibility mode different from whats now in vista/xp etc? Anyways, its still beta isnt it? I wouldnt compare it with the final version. Thats a bit useless.

i'm just waiting 3 days. It sux not being able to play though, i'm not willing to downgrade though cause i thnk windows 7 is awesome. I'm not sure about what you're talking about there, let me check it out I don't know... it doesn't say how to activate it or anything, it seemes like it could be a lot of work and they said that they weren't relesseaing until the official release of w7, so you have to wait 4 months i think.

I was able to play MS after tweaking 7 with the beta version..... Quick Question, does anyone have a clone of MS for Ubuntu?

I have window 7. Been using since beta came out. Note: theres mini patches for window 7 every week if anyone doesnt know. pm me and ill give you the link. WINDOW 7 FAILS WITH VIDEO PROGRAMS....AHHHHHH

It is already working in the Release Candidate you just have to activate it, you have to download some stuff and whatnot but it may be worth it if some1 is desperate enough to play MS Here is the link: Some pics of the activation, and the running of Xp mode link an Article about it: link
