Ok, so I go on my computer as normal. So I downloaded limewire and dled a couple songs. (not sure if limewire makes viruses, etc) So like soon I go to surfthechannel dot com to watch tv shows, etc. My avast was like beep virus, but nothing to say delete it or anything. I just ignored it and the next day it kept beeping me and had to delete on and on. So i disconnected from the internet, booted up in safemode. I started doing my malware anti w/e thingy and it got finishd, so it asked me to restart so i restarted back into safe mode. I then use SUPERANTISPYWARE thingy and it detected about 29 more. It got deleted. So then i decided k tis done. I reboot, then when i go to the screen, it says my comptuer name and there as no passwords. I clicked ok and it brought me as normal.I plug my itnernet back in and it says BEEP! a virus but notihng to tell me to delete it. So i ignored it again cause i already fixed it. How did it come back? i was in safemode with itnernet disconnected. It happened again th enext day so i did everytihng again. Today i boot up my computer and that log in thing came up again, so i pressed ok becuase there was no apssword. why is there a log in thing? i didn't have it before so yeah, when i starte dit up today after pressing ok, i came to my desktop. All i see is my wallpaper but none ofmy programs, so i went to windows task manager and opened up itnernet to ask for help. (i use firefox) please help me! i booted up in safemode with disconnecte ditnernet yet it still comes back!

well if your antivirus can't delete it, then boot i nsafe mode and do system restore to a few days before you got the virus

AvriILavigne said: "IDK what it's called x_x" It should have said it when you scanned for viruses.

well your first mistake was to download limewire. That crap is sooo risky, most of my friends that had limewire got a virus or a trojan. But it seems like the only thing you can do is format your computer.

If you're dumb, system restore. If explorer.exe is just not loaded at startup, see sentence 1.

dje123Google the virus name, if one of the programs said it. Some are as easy to rid of as clearing cookies/cache. Others, you need a virus protector.

Copy the Limewire folder into a compressed document that does NOT have a password. Then, scan the compressed document using this site: link It will take a while, but if it came from Limewire, your best bet is to uninstall Limewire and then do a scan from there. The chances are that Limewire is continuing to download the virus whenever you are connected to the internet. If you need a compression tool, use this: link It's free and good. I use it. I have yet to find a safe alternative to LimeWire other than buying the music online, but if I do, I will share it with you.
