If you don't like reading walls of text, bye Those boxes make everything too damn easy. Stonetooth swords, blue metus's, palettes, used to be RARE. It was a challenge and probably pride to hold one, not to mention the high cost. Hell, a friend of mine bought a tao of shadows for 222 mil when they were first out. Can you believe it? 222 mil. How much are they now? around 222k, all because of that event. I mean seriously, some things in this game used to be CHALLENGES. Now it's all about how much ****ing NX you have. NX could be nice, it could give you an advantage, but what's the point of this game if there are no challeneges anymore? Atleast 5 of my friends lost around 500 mil or more because of this event. I understand this event gives nexon quick money, but it was nice as a 1-time-thing. They can't host it every 3 months, damn it. And they lost a LOT of potential NX buyers that quit because of losing so much money. Every 10 years old child can steal his mom's credit card, charge 1 thousand $ and get a few bils. And not only that. Atleast in the first event, people held the prices high. They didn't want to sell their cash for nothing. But now stupid people think "oh no this will deflate in 10 more mil in 10 mins!" and make everything so damn cheap, thus deflating the prices. Dragon Khanjars are 30mil because of people who wanted to get rid of them fast. kthnxbai

This thread is biased, for this poll doesnt contain I'm wrong, therefore you are not expressing the opinion of the people that think this event is nice. If u want money, find your way. I found mine, and idc about events, because my item(s) are not affected by it. well they are but not that much. Its like Aluminum in real life, before aluminum was solidified it was expensive, now look its so cheap anyone can buy it. World changes, and you have to get used to it.

That poll is stupid, but it isn't the main point of this thread, it was just for the lulz - if you want to express your opinion you can post instead of voting. And that's true, but God doesn't make special events that make aluminium cost 1$ per ton.

I though it was going to be an "nx isn't fair" rant. I completely agree. When they put rare items in the boxes, it ruins the whole game. I was waiting to see my first blue metus, but now they are everywhere. I wanted to buy a palette, and show my wealth with it. After the event, they will be like 5 mil max. Its stupid.

Yeah, but that's why when you get to that point in the game, and you are financially capable of doing so, it's a lot more of an accomplishment. Whereas some kid who struck it big in a matter of minutes with this event buys skillbooks, etc and didn't even work for it. I guess for me, it's more of a moral issue. It's really de-motivating to see people who have been playing for way less time than me getting rich, when I've been working at it for 3 years. That's all.

I love these boxes =D Thank the lord I sold my st before this event otherwise I would've lost alot ;P Also, gen 30 will FINALLY become affordable and ele wands will continue to deflate which is great with all of the new lukless ams/ bishops that keep reaching 130+ each day ;P That's why it's not the best idea to invest in an "endgame weapon" since as long as new content is released, chances are it won't be an end game one... P.S: paletts come from the boxes O_o? Nexon should've made smiley/ sad/ angry masks come from them instead >;O

Pride? In having an item? Lol. I play Maple Story because it's a casual game and makes many things easy. If I wanted a challenge, I'd go play real life.

Getting to that level in the first place is an accomplishment, and is the fun part to most of us. If i find that i got to that point in the game only to find myself scouring the FM for weeks for a book that takes out literally ALL of my money that also has a chance of failing JUST so i can level up skills, i'd quit easy. For you, it's just the fact that you got your skill books with huge trouble, and now it's really easy as hell. You just have to realize that eventually it's going to be easy, so there's no point whining over it. As far as money goes, markets change. Deal with it.
