1: I have a level 71 priest. Am I high enough level to hime with a dk? 2: Is it possible to hime without magic guard, but with hp equips/hb? 3: Also, I read a guide saying I should get 1 point in SR. Why is this? 4: What hp do I need to survive? I currently have 1182

Can I go mg-less? As long as I dont get 1hko'ed, i'll be OK, right?. And does invincible decrease damage from the himes' magic attack?

ER reduces the damage that an elemental magic attack deals on you.
Prettyboy 04/23/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
Yeah.. elemental . Himes magic attack isn't elemental. (Same goes for Skelegons)

Just watch out when you`re doing HS without MG, you wont be able to heal for a few seconds so make sure your not in a mob or any other dangerous position.

Just thought I'd ask outa interest cos a Priest here also said that his damage from Death Teddies was also reduced when he rose ER . Unless DT projectile attacks have an elemental charge ?

plouey said: "Hey question, is it TRUE that you hardly use any MANA pots during himes when your with a DK?" yes; with no magic guard on, max tele, and with max mp eater, you almost use no pots at all, because all you're doing is tele-ing around mobbing up; you don't really actually attack, and every time u hit a mob of 6, its almost definitely a mp eater. yeah, i agree with himing with a sader; if he's got max coma and max combo, he owns dks lol. btw, once you have max shining ray, soloing is faster rite?
blahkitty 04/23/09 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
Elemental Resistance will help against MDT and DT hits since they are elemtenal magic attacks but the hime attacks are more of a distanced physical attack so ER has no effect but with invincible their hit will be a good amount less as long as invincible is maxed.

At lvl 71 I think I had roughly around 1k of Hp and with Hb included you should have about 1600 Hp which is more then enough. If you have 1683 Hp then you definitely be able to survive assuming you'll be using Invincible. You can probably party with any type of warrior. Try to party with a 100+ crusader if your lucky enough to find one that'll go with you. Their combo attack quickly kills off the Himes and I guarantee you'll probably be earning slightly more exp then with a DK. (Since most of the times that's the class most Priests are stuck with partying)" invincible works only 4 touch dmg not 4 magic idk how much a priest gets hit at 7x. and also u train better with a dk at 100 sader is a bit slower

plouey said: "Hey question, is it TRUE that you hardly use any MANA pots during himes when your with a DK?" Yes it is, bc if you have max mp recovery and mp eater and have enough hp to take a hit, you can virtually use 0 mana pots.
