MapleStory will go through a security update on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009. This involves all game servers, and it will last for approximately 4.5 hours. Times BT: April 23, 00:00-4:30 PDT: April 22, 10:00pm - 2:30am GMT: April 23, 5:00am - 9:30am A new security tool will be implemented with this update.

Well, we have hackshield in EMS, and i don't really notice as many hackers as i used to. Could be imagining things though.

oh my god... i hate hackshield... gameguard is so much easier to hack LOL =P at least i know that i dont have to buy a mushy tonight.. i was just about to too

No more cheaters? Haha, Hack Shield does nothing that GameGuard didn't do. In MSEA people are as far as I've heard having no problems using hacks just like with GameGuard. HackShield doesn't eat your CPU as much though. But I doubt this is gonna make any difference..
