maple takes up about 512mb ram ? whats left is 500mb ram for you to play DotA: is that enough? does it meet the requirements? If so there should be no lag.

codebanditgenerally, is it even possible to run warcraft and ms at the same time? and to the above, thats not how ram is distributed

Yes i am not talking about World of Warcraft but Warcraft 3 because if it was World of Warcraft then i will not even dare to ask because the game will lagg like so much thatmy computer will explode

i do it all the time, open a shop and then play DotA, if you got a decent computer and decent internet, you should be more than fine.

hide maple.

yeah that should work... if you have a good enough computer, the programs shouldn't conflict, like if you run two games which use the same program.

I rather be on the safe side and not do it. It's possible, just not recommended.

Why not just try maple without the permit and try playing DotA and see if you lag, if you do than don't get that 90 day permit, if it does work, than get the 90 day permit and play DotA

It should work. I was able to do it on my old comp which had similar stuff to your Dell

Just don't have Maplestory in Window mode because if you alt tab out of Warcraft and click on Maple, there will be just a black screen, or background.

My warcraft 3 hates my maple being open for some reason. After a while my mouse can only move in the top left half of the warcraft 3 screen. And it has delay on typing. this is with 2ghz dual core 1.5gb of ram 128mb ati x1600 graphics cardi think and some other crap i cant remember...So it should handle both fine!

It doesn't hurt to try. The worst thing that could happen is lagging... The computer wouldn't explode or anything (or you could have a lawsuit started :D)

Just try it, if it doesn't work it doesn't work. Either play a campaign or join another game where it spawns a lot of stuff like tower defense or something. If it can handle all the spawn then i'm pretty sure you can alt tab maplestory and play Warcraft.
