Late night mod

In light of the situation that Basilers have begun to take advantage of the lack of mods working at night, I, along with other Basilers such as HolyMythos, have come to ask that a late night mod position be given to someone trustworthy. More and more inappropriate threads and blatant rule breaking have been occurring at night because Basilers think they can get away with it because mods are not patrolling and that their threads or comments will die by the next day. Us supporters of a late night mod have been told time and again that reporting is our best solution and what we should do. Reporting does result in suspensions and bans, but in my opinion, is not a completely effective method to deal with these problems because of the time a mod might take to assess the situation. Therefore, inappropriate material can stay bumped in the forums for hours to an entire night. Especially now, there has been a large influx of inappropriate material cycling around Basil and various other rule breaking done at night. Because of this, I have come to the conclusion that the institution of a late night mod will be to the best interests of the Basil community by being there to solve problems and take proper action when needed. Mods, please don't take this as an insult to your hard work. I acknowledge that you all have been working hard in assessing these situations and taking proper action, but due to the fact that you guys are not here at night, rule breaking has become much worse. If you find this thread distasteful or unnecessary, you can delete it or do whatever you see fit. Basilers, discuss.

You need someone in a different timezone that is fluent in english. They should have their afternoon= our night.

Nice idea, but this should go under "Site". And just to add something on; I think that trying to have as much variation between mod time zones as possible would be a good idea, for optimal 24/7 reliability.

Last time I checked there is a mod or two who is on late at night because of the timezone they are in. Whether or not they answer you're every call, I don't know.
