so my inspiron 700m is my good old friend i had it for a couple years and it took me a lotta hours of work and bets to make the money to buy this but everything works fine the ram is kinda little and ghz is also kinda slow ram around 500mb -_- ghz 1.6 i think but it works fine watching movies its good dl is fast maple works fine and it hardly makes any noise unless u put ur ear agasinst it only draw back is that the keyboard getss relaly hot making me come to my point i let my cousin play with it and he somehow too koff the "I" button on my kepboard of the laptop and i have to use a little rubber thinge that was under the square key of the I button and when i play more then 4 hours and i try to press I the I its VERY VERY hot because its touching metal and yeah do you people have any solutions to my problem? maybe i can buy a new keyboard or something or is the space and ghz so bad i should just sell this thing and yes my gramer is bad bare with me im from east LA -_- bad schools

Your best bet would be to open your laptop up and clean out all the dust thats probably inside of it...

Between those two choices, i doubt you should let the Basil community decide. Anyways, i would say you should get a new laptop, a one worth the money if you can afford. Because getting laptops fixed might charge you a lot and you've had it for a couple of years, so it's not exactly brand new. But you can just get the keys fixed. Also you can take out the keys and try to fix it at home.

dude just dont press i just change ur settings for maple and if its not for maple go online and look for a on screen mape my xp has a built in on screen keyboard.

get a laptop that has around 200gb hard drive and 2.0ghz so it isn't that slower than ur previous laptop
