I just had the most awkwardest conversation with my gf... I don't even like her much and I wanted to break up with her. She rang tonight and she's like "we need to talk" im like "mmhmm" Her: I dont think this is working out Me: mmhmm Her: Like there's nothing there Me: mmhmm Her: I feel like you dont even like me *Long pause* Me: Well this is awkward... im going... *hangs up* wow...what?

Just sort of talk to her gently about it and then tell her that you'll give her some time to just sort of ... "deal" with the "problem". This is usually what I do with my ex's though...ionno about your ex, but I just give them some space since I'm the problem and it won't help if I just keep messaging them asking if they're okay.

If you're close to her best friend, and her best friend is nice and all, try to explain to her best friend and ask for advice there. Her best friend could either pass on the message in a lighter way or in an analogy or a "suggestion" sort of thing, or, help you in your way of staying friends...assuming that her best friend would know what to do...since she's her best friend LOL. But it's a good sign....at least she SHOULD be getting comfort. I still advise you to talk to her too, though, even after talking/consulting with the best friend. Hopefully she can see that you care, as a friend, about her and would like to keep her as a friend, since taking the initiative to talk to her about it and such shows a lot more than having her hear through other people.
