Is Transform useless

I'm sorry if other threads were made about this but I haven't seen any yet so I'm here to ask experienced Marauders or Buccaneers to answer a question. In the third job, is transform useless? Theres that 7 minute cap at MAX and only lasts 2 minutes, wouldn't that make it very unefficient? Making Shockwave used even less also.. Also does energy charge work with transform? Meaning I get the haste effect, defense bonus and atk bonus?

Yes transform is useless. Yes energy charge works with transform. No transform does not give attack.

isnt a maruader all about using blast right now? or am i wrong anyways OT- transformation is ok in 3rd job, but its really used for 4th job with super transformation to use the skills as for the charge, idk cause i havent gotten that far when my brawler

Yes. Super Transform, however, is a different story. With Snatch it stuns so that Shockwave will be critical, or if it's maxed it's speed will make it stronger than Shockwave. And Demolition is better damage than Barrage, too.

i did the energy build and yeah i foundtransform pretty usless during 3rd job because u cant group them with corkscrew while in transformed state and half the itme ur attacking 1 target with shockwave.

It has no USE if you don't max Shockwave or are a buccaneer who no longer has use for shockwave. Of course we NEED transform maxed but many of us do not USE it, hence it being useless. Truth be told, it would be somewhat useful if we could max it and shockwave without sacrificing drain, but Shockwave becomes pretty worthless as a buccaneer, especially once we can use DS in Super Transform. Yes, we get the attack boost from EC while transformed and can use blast when we charge EC, but drain speed is cold-bloodedly MURDERED . Maxed transform is necessary to add into super transform, so of course it's maxed, though it serves little purpose if we leave SW at 21, which is what I as well as many other marauders will be doing.
