No, this has been tested I believe. It was only people getting their NX after the mix up or something like that

Lolwut, if this we're true everyone would abuse this opportunity of a life time, Nexon's generous in ways with events and that 1 day free NX thing, but 10k NX for just leveling a snail within the 5 hours it expires... no way.

No... and billion threads were made about it... they gave free nx for people who spent nx the previous month... like 50k+ nx spent and they give you about 6k... Even though, only some people got... about the snail, many people i know leveled it to 10 and got nothing but an 'buy a new pet on cs' when it expired...
