I recently saw an ad that said you could trade your DS lite for a DSi. Do they actually give a new DSi?

Ok here's something people don't get : Gamestop makes money with used things and merchanting everything they get Scenario one : Me : Hey maybe I should trade halo 3 a 60 dollar game and a couple of bucks for gow2! Them : Ok so we'll give you 13 bucks for halo 3 and for every game you buy right now you get 70 cents of your next purchase. Me : the hell?

Actually if you trade a game over 8 dollars and a ds lite, its 100 dollars off. So you have 100$ more, because the DSi here costs 200$! ;O

Read the fine print. Anyway, yeah, Gamestop charges a bit more, but that's for the convenience, jus like you buy milk at a convenience store for $6, even tho other stores sell it for less

Well where would you like to buy your games from? EBGames? Owned by Gamestop. Amazon/Ebay? High risk of damage or incorrect purchased item. Walmart/Target/Other retail stores? They are often more expensive than Gamestop. I don't see many options here, my friend. :S They over-price because they have the best service and selection.

You give them your lite and they give you a $70 dollar discount on the dsi. so it totals to $100 instead of 170.
