Can I play MS on Asus EEE PC 1000HE?

Asus EEE PC 1000HE 160 GB Harddrive 1 GB ram but I'll be upgrading to 2GB Wireless, webcam, microphone 9.5 hour battery life Windows XP Operating System Processor Class: Intel Atom Processor Speed: 1.66 GHz Cache Size: 512 kB Bus Speed: 667 GHz Otherwise, does anyone else reccommend a netbook around $500? I prefer XP honestly Vista and downgrading is too much issues.

Ive heard people playing on netbooks, but expect lag, and dont expect to boss.

That computer/laptop will run MS fine, just if you boss or do events which contain alot of people, you might lag hardly.. But otherwise, it can run ms x)

Maple has very low system requirements... basically every computer other than antiques can run it.

So should I buy this? Is there any other netbook/laptop I could buy that would be better to run maple on? I train at himes and I pap, I might even zak. x_o so should I get something different? Any recommendations?

i recommend the hp mini notebook. Runs maple fine with little lag in fm. Havent tried bossing on it tho. Also, it doesn't have those end, ins, home, etc keys in an easy to reach place, so keep that in mind.

That looks like my mom's Acer Laptop. I tried running MS on it, and it gave me a horrible lag. I'm not sure with yours but it also has 1gb ram

Only thing bad about the netbook is that the keyboard is hell squished together >-> You will have to adjust your hotkeys or plug a proper keyboard in.

Btw guys...If you had 16 GB RAM and a POS vid card, you'd experience graphical lag. You can play MS on pretty much any current laptop or desktop. Specs shouldn't be a concern any more.
