Final Fantasy 5 advance help

so i need some help with final fantasy 5 advance. im up to the part in world 2 where u fight exdeath in his castle. i just cant seem to beat him no matter how hard i try. my team is bartz as a samurai, lenna as a white mage, krile as a black mage, and faris as a monk. they r all lvl23. i have good equips. the white magic i have r cure,cura,curaga, poisona, silence, protect, mini, raise, esuna, and reflect. the black magic i have is fire,fira,firaga,blizzard,blizzara,blizzaga,thunder, thundara, thundaga,toad, break, and bio. bartz is using the 2 handed ability, lenna and krile arent using a ability, and faris is using counter. i have A LOT of healing items, but i just cant seem to beat him. help plz. im thinking of just getting out of this dungeon and lvling up a couple of times. any tips?

Yeah, just grind for alittle bit. Get atleast to 35+. You got carbuncle?

Never got passed the part where you first get your dragon on that game :o I should revisit it.

go to that one castle with the invincible dragon, then use a trainer i think to control it, use its fire move against itself and in 4-5 of its its itll die giving you like 3K Exp you can also steal some good items from him :D hope i helped.

Wow, that's your problem right there. "bartz is using the 2 handed ability, lenna and krile arent using a ability, and faris is using counter" The thing about this game IS the abilities. You're sorta screwed if you don't have good abilities....I suggest maybe starting over. I would know, I beat the game, easily, and then the bonus dungeon......So easy it wasn't even funny. Get two guys to learn dualwield (ninja skill) and rapid fire (archer skill), do that and it'll hit 8 times, which will own anything. Also get dualcast (red mage)......Course, seeing how you're not that far in the game....Just try spamming blizz/fire/thundaga, and curaga, and just bashing away...That usually works :/

Train a Ninja to get the Dual-Wield ability, then a Ranger to get the Rapid Fire ability, then the Mystic Knight to get the Spellblade Lv. 6 ability. Then, get a Freelancer, equip two weapons (you don't need Dual-Wield in your abilities since it's innate when you master the Ninja class), Rapid Fire, and Spellblade Lv. 6. Use Break Spellblade with Rapid Fire and you're good to go.
