I heard this feeds the lurkers. Enjoy. The child lay underneath the apple tree. Her family owned an apple orchard, and she loved to walk in it, looking at all the fruit. She picked an apple from above her and took a bite. The bite wasn�t very big, but to her it was a pretty big chunk. The sun smiled down upon the orchard as the child�s eyes grew more and more weary. It was a warm day, but as the sun descended it began to lose its heat. Clouds moved in over the orchard, and the girl�s father walked quietly over to the child�s resting place. He picked her up with ease, and he began to carry her back to the house as the first drops of rain began to fall. The sun had left the sky now, and a steady rain had begun. A cool breeze blew through the orchard, whistling as it passed through the various leaves and branches. The girl awoke in the middle of her slumber to find herself bundled in warm blankets upon her soft bed. She smiled.
