| I love how some random 2 day old account can make a thread on basil, and 99/100 people will believe them for about a week, whether what they say is untrue or not, until someone comes along and makes a big thread full of equations and "habberdasher" stating why the original person who said the untrue statement is wrong, at that point 49/100 people will bash this person telling him/her that the original thread poster is the "light bringer", he told us that Nexon let's the GMs hack at home, he didn't have his character on his basil id, but he was very believable. Ususally when I log on basil I see 7 of the new threads on the home page about the same exact thing... What is a keylogger, I got hacked... From a keylogger!, Lolkeylogger, and 3 threads that say "I think I might have a keylogger". First of all, if you get hacked, why do you automatically goto keylogger? If you have a myspace, and you fill out stupid surveys, and throw out your email to people like it's saturday night... You can get hacked. Example. Let's say I already know your email... Some guy at gmail... Go then I goto password recover, input name and captcha, alright, "Some guy" "ad83n3" <- Bad Captcha Example TT.TT Recovery Question = Wh4t 15 MY DOGGIES N4M3? >:O *Goes to myspace* Oh look, it says on his myspace that his dogs name is spots... "Spots" Please change your Gmail password to your new password... Alrighty, Lolihackedyouraccount, accept. *Goes to MS login* I forgot my login ID! *puts in email* *Goes to email account properties/myspace for birthdate* *smiley face* I just got some money and now some noob is going to go cry on basil. Yes I know that that was terribly hard to read, but you guys have to understand, just with someones email, you can hack someone who's account isn't secure enough... Ways to avoid everything I just stated: Don't put your birthdate on your myspace. Don't put where you live on your myspace. Don't do stupid surveys on myspace. Make your recovery questions something YOU and only you would know. On another note, I saw some guy trying to advertise a Pianus Shishcabob on basil useing a webpoll survey as the sign up page... I CANNOT IMAGINE, how many people signed up for it... It's just NOT EVEN REMOTELY IMAGINABLE...
