How long do you think maplestory will last?

Does the failing economy affect online MMORPG games too? I don't know if many of the maplers are younger than 15 and ignorant of the growing debt in the economy..who might keep spending money in the game

You know that multiple studies have been made and they showed that the gaming industries are the one of the only industries that wont be affected as much by the global recession. And did you also know that people join maplestory everyday? So if you quit doesnt mean the whole maple world will quit.Its exactly like reproduction people are born and people die, the cycle goes on and more people are born than the ones dying every day. Just wanted to point that out to you. ;]

Ive seen ads on youtube for maple now O_o. I think they are doing better with money but I dont know. Before they NEVER advertised now they advertise on youtube wich is visited by almost every one O_o

My guess is that maybe maple story will shut down but due to patches and future PVP, Increase maxium level, new jobs, 5th job, Stronger faster better monsters, and more i dont think maple will go down. but if they do i think they will shut down keep all their files and make maple story 2 3D XD they'll be like hey played old maple story well now u can on maple story 3d ur old files have been transfered to maple story 3D !

The failing economy won't affect Maple anyway like it would affect House prices. Maple is played by game addicts who have little control over their desires regardless of the economic situation let alone the outside world where the sun hits the skin.
