They were mostly shades of green, right? When there is no blood in a certain area of your body, it turns greyish white. As there is no blood in it, oxygen is unable to be brought to it, making it unable to do the ability it is meant to do. Now, since your eyes are seeing shades of green, you are seeing the blood that used to be there. Look away from your computer screen for about 30 seconds then close your eyes and look outside your window. You should notice you could only see red. Now, cover your eyes with your palm and push onto your eyes GENTLY. You should start to see those shades of green after a few seconds. This usually happens around the center of your sight of vision, because that's where most of your blood is being forced out of. Why do you see green, instead of red? Because our eyes are somewhat like a camera's filmstrip. When you see the picture after it is developed, it is the right colour. But when you see the colour as a negative(in its small filmstrip), the colours are inverted. Since our eyes are liek a camera, it develops the images we see so that they look the way they are supposed to work. Without blood, they cannot work correctly, so the colour is not fixed. And as you stop pressing on your eyes, you'd notice that the green aura is slowly fading away. This happens because the blood is rushign back to where they are supposed to be, and that they are now doing everything they should be doing.
