Hi, i am a level 70 fighter (soon to be crusader once i make job advancement =D) Do you guys think that i should continue with my lvl 50 japanese map (85atk) and wait until im lvl 80 to get a really good blue screamer? or should i just change now to a good level 70 2handed sword? cause i wanna improve my damage its pretty low with a level 50 weapon. Thanks.

It depends on funding. If it were me, and there was lots of money available, I'd just go all-out and get a 100+ attack 1-handed Red Katana (preferably 104+, some guy who PMed me recently about this found a 104/12 RK for 70 mil somehow) and either a decent STR shield or weak attack shield (like 4-8 attack). RK outclasses Doombringer even with less attack, let alone if you manage to get more. If you can't afford RK though I'd go with "upgrade the Map to 90, or else consider a 102+ Soul Rohen." Either way I see no practical purpose to Doombringer itself.

Level 80 get a night ravens wing since it has a faster attack speed and switch to a rohen if you need the accuracy

@ above-Night raven's wing is lvl 90; I would say if you have the money get a katana, but a fast weapon balances out the lower damage.

wow this thread help answer, questions for my jap map...im getting one......wonder if i can find a 85+ atk one......anyway isnt a scrolled rohen with 10+ atk better then a jap map, even with the speed or i am totally wrong?

Better is subjective. There are some situations where the response time for as much as 25 attack lower on a Fast(4) weapon can more than make up for the lower damage, and there are some situations where as little as 10 more attack can compensate (that only happens if it's either a 100%-KB issue in 8x in Ludi, or a Gobies-related situation). And there are some situations where you may need a Rohen's accuracy. In terms of pure DPS you need about 20% more total attack on a Normal(6) to match a Fast(4) of the same weapon type; at 110 total with a map (including buff) for instance that would need about a 22 attack advantage. In terms of kill rate I'd estimate about the same, but there are of course the KB issues. Still, I find it hard to believe only 10 attack would make up for Fast(4) vs. Normal(6) at the upper levels if it doesn't even do so at the Lionheart/Zard levels, where 10 attack means a lot more in the comparison.
